״Nobat Baja״ - A Traditional Folk Music of Sangrah area.

Nobat Baja ¼ukScr cktk½ is a Traditional Folk Music of  Sangrah Development Block/Trans Giri area of Himachal Pradesh which has been performed to Pray the Lord  Shirgul, Vijat and Gon Devta etc. Melodies and Attractive music of  Nobat is played with Traditional Musical interment/Bajgo Dumenu, Nagara and Karnal. A special community of area called Bajgi/Bajantri plays Baja during prayer in morning and evening with Two small Sticks/Bhainte . Nobat has been performed since hundreds of year in the Temple of village Dewamanal, Gelio, Dungi, Jabrog, Dewna, Rawlagarh (Sangrah) and Tuheri Etc. of Sangrah Block. In evening Gats/Pol of Temple are closed after Nobat and opened with this Melodies voice in morning. In absence of main Bajgi other mail member should have to play the Nobat. This music was an indigestion of Time in old days and on special occasion like Jagra of God it should be play 9 times in a day.  Now there are only about 120 Bajgi/Bajantri family in Trans-Giri/Giripar area or state who performs Nobat in their Temple/Village regularly.          
Sangrah is a Beautiful Town, Green Valley and Tehsil HQ of District Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh. Government Degree College Sangrah, Tehsil Office, BDO, HDO, ADO, BSNL Exchange, Police Station, Old House of National Awarded Kinkri Devi, Rawlagarh Fort, Jawga Hils, Jawga Helipad, Rawlagarh Fort, Brah Forest, Lord Vijat and Shiva Temple are the main attraction/Place of Sangrah. There are 41 Gram Panchayats in Sangrah Development Block and Tehsil. About 21 Panchayats of Sangrah Block has been covered with the Snow during winter season. Churdhar Hills, Jablog, Piulilani, Haripurdhar, Gattadhar, Balayandhar, Sunderdhat, Brah-Rupee, Jawga Hills, Choras and Diwri-Khrahan are the Snow bounded Area/ Hills/ Panoramic Valley/ Village/ Forest of Sangrah Block in winters. Tourist and peoples of different areas comes to see the Panoramic view of these Beautiful Valley/ Village/ Forest/Pastures/Hills and enjoy snow games. Churdhar is a famous Religious Place of Sirmaur and Shimla Districts. Famous Temple of Lord Shirgul Maharaj is situated at the Churdhar Peak. Churdhar Hills  have been covered with the Snow for 5/6 months in year.. Population of Sangrah Bhoj/Area is about 6,000 and height is 6,700 Feet. Budechhu, Dhakuli, Nati, Geeh, Thoda Fight and Purua are the Famous Folk Dance of this area.
