Star Singer Hans Raj Hans in International Renukaji Festival

Indian Star Sufi Singer Hans Raj Hans with Traditional Sirmauri Weapon Dangra in 1st Cultural Night of International Renukaji Festival on 12th of November, 2013. Hundreds of People Danced with him and enjoy his Songs.  Hans Raj Hans is a Punjabi singer born in a village called Shafipur near Jalandhar. He was born into a peasant family.   He sings Punjabi Folk and Sufi music but has also sung in movies and released his own Indipop albums. He has worked alongside other renowned artists such as the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, as seen in the movie Kachche Dhaage.   Hans Raj Hans sings Punjabi folk, devotional and Sufi music but has also sung in movies and released his own Indipop albums.  He was awarded an honorary music professor at Washington DC University and San Jose University.   Renukaji is the largest natural Lake of Himachal Pradesh in Sangrah Subdivision of Sirmaur District. The Lake is about 15,000 year old according to Dr. NK Meena senior scientist of Wadiya Institute Dehradun. Shape of lake is like a profile of women and circumference is about 3 KM. Renukaji was mother of Lord Parshuram and Bhagwan Parshuram comes to Renukaji every year on Dashmi of Kartik month according to Hindu Dharam Granth/Volume/Books. People of area have a full faith in Lord and Ma Renukaji and on Dashmi/10th day Kartik International Renuka festival had been celebrated since hundreds of year here. Renuka Mela is one of oldest religious festival of India. Natural beauty of about 450 hectare Wetland /Renuka forest attract traveler and tourist here. Lake, Lion Safari, Zoo, Parshuram Tal, Renu Manch, Kubja Saraye and Ashrams are main attractions and Historical place of Renukaji.
